/ Our Journey

/ Starting in a Time of Crisis – July 2021
During Myanmar’s third wave of COVID-19, access to medical care was very limited. That’s when FOC Teleclinic was created — to help those who couldn’t reach hospitals or clinics.
With support from over 60 volunteer doctors, both locally and abroad, we offered free telemedicine daily from 8am to 8pm. We also shared basic health advice to help people take care of themselves and their families.
In just over a month, we supported more than 5,000 patients.

/ After the Pandemic
Once the crisis settled, we paused consultations and shifted our focus to health education and everyday wellness. Our platform became a place for clear, trustworthy health advice people could rely on.

/ Responding to the Earthquake – March 28, 2025
A powerful 7.7 earthquake struck Mandalay and Sagaing. With hospitals damaged, many were left without care.
We restarted our service with over 110 volunteer doctors, expanding our hours from 8am to midnight. We provided both primary care and mental health support — making sure people had someone to turn to during that difficult time.

/ Where We're Headed
FOC Teleclinic continues to grow with the community. We're committed to offering free, accessible healthcare — during emergencies and beyond. Whatever comes next, we’ll keep showing up.
